I got into real estate investing while flying airplanes and helicopters for the Navy.
I started flipping 1 house per year as a side hustle.
But it took a lot of time and effort. I was still flying for the Navy all day, my wife had recently given birth to our first baby, and I was spending all my time trying to fix up these houses.
I needed a better system.
After my first couple flips, I discovered the 7 Figure Flipping community... and it set me on a path that changed everything.
I did 67 deals that first year after joining. The following year, I did 135. Then almost 200.
During that time, my wife and I had 2 more boys, one with a congenital heart defect that turned our lives upside down and required a lot of time in the hospital. My real estate business allowed me to buy a house sight unseen for cash, close in 10 days, and pick up and move immediately to be there with my family for all of his surgeries.
Through it all, my business kept growing and thriving.
I retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. I built my business up to about 200 deals per year by creating repeatable systems, hiring the right people, and taking myself out of the day-to-day operations so my team could grow beyond me.
